SkyWater, Quantum-Si expand microfluidic R&D partnership
Quantum-Si Inc. (Branford, Conn.), which is developing protein sequencing technology, has announced it is expanding its cooperation with foundry SkyWater Technology Inc.
The two companies have worked together on Quantum-Si’s Platinum platform since 2021 and SkyWater has provided consumables for that system since 2Q24. They will now expand their collaboration to support the development of the consumable part of Proteus, Quantum-Si’s next-generation platform. This platform is expected to enable accurate large factor, protein sequencing.
SkyWater is able to provide microfluidic biomedical devices from proof of concept to final qualification and holds certification to the ISO 13485 standard for medical devices.
