Fanless modular PSU carries medical approvals
Excelsys’s modular resonant technology offers efficiency and reliability, with a 5 year warranty. The CoolX600 is fully safety certified to IEC60601-1 3rd edition and IEC60601-1-2 4th Edition (EMC) for medical applications. Medical features include BF rating (Body Floating), dual fusing, 2 x MOPP, and <300 µA leakage current. Other features include 4 kV input surge immunity and the ability to withstand input voltages of up to 300 VAC for use in remote locations and those subject to input voltage disturbances.
Delivering 25% longer predicted lifetimes than alternative products, the CoolX600 offers enhanced thermal performance attained with system fans or additional external conduction cooling. In addition to efficiency of up to 94%, the CoolX600 provides flexibility, with features include a 24W standby power outputs (5V or 12V) offering effectively another output, for system intelligence, cooling fans, displays etc., 5000m altitude operation and optional PMBus communications.
The CoolX600 can be populated with up to four CoolMods, completely user and field configurable, providing up to four isolated DC outputs ranging from 2.5V to 58.0V. Outputs can be configured to the required set point voltages and connected in parallel of series for higher output current and/or higher output voltages. There is analogue and digital management with PMBus monitoring and control capability and the supply is user field configurable with Plug and Play power. Mounting options include base, side and Din Rail alternatives
