The units already comply with the European ATEX standard and the Class 1 Div 2 HazLoc scheme covering the USA.
The IECEx Scheme was created to facilitate international trade in electrical equipment intended for use in hazardous atmospheres by eliminating the need for multiple national certification. The 26 countries covered by the Scheme include the USA, Australia, Canada, China, Brazil, India, Japan, Korea, New Zealand and, South Africa.
Many industrial applications benefit from the use of ATEX approved products, not only for their atmospheric capabilities, but also the double conformal coating required for AC products ensures very high resistance to shock and vibration.
