
Modular connectors cut assembly and maintenance costs
Designed to cut assembly and maintenance costs to the minimum, a family of modular connectors from Stäubli features a Click-and-Connect system that enables all parts to be quickly assembled manually without the use of any special tools.
The CombiTac direqt can be fully customised to meet customer requirements and each carrier and frame is coded, eliminating any possibility of assembly error or incorrect polarity mating between male and female connectors. The CombiTac lines are suitable for a wide range of applications in general industry, automation, automotive manufacturing and testing, medical and healthcare, rail, transport and logistics.
All configurations, whether for panel mount or housing applications, ensure a constant and reliable connection for signals, power and pneumatic coupling for up to 10 000 mating cycles. Throughout this life cycle, the quality of the contacts remains at the highest possible level, providing constant low contact resistance and stable performance even in the presence of shock and vibration.
Medium and high current contacts up to 350 A are available, offering IP2X protection on both the male and female side, along with leakage-free pneumatic couplings (15 bar).
The long-established existing family of CombiTac connectors rated to over 100,000 mating cycles, has been renamed CombiTac uniq. CombiTac direqt and CombiTac uniq connectors can be supplied ready assembled, including cable assembly if required. They can be quickly and easily configured online using a configurator at configurator.combitac.com.
