The foundry reported sales of NT$229.62 billion (about US$7.09 billion).
TSMC’s sales for the first five months of 2024 stand at NT$1.06 trillion (about US$32.67 billion) up 27.0 percent on the same period in 2023.
Sales at fellow Taiwanese foundry UMC were NT$19.51 billion (about US$602 million) up 3.9 percent compared with May 2023 sales. UMC’s year-to-date sales were NT93.88 billion (about US$2.90 billion), up 2.7 percent compared with the first five months of 2023.
