
Samsung starts 3D-NAND flash fab construction in Korea

The additional module is inside Pyeongtaek’s Line 2. Established in 2015, Samsung’s Pyeongtaek Campus is a hub for next-generation memory technologies, consisting of two of the world’s largest-scale production lines.
Samsung did not indicate how much money is being spend or what additional capacity the module will produce.
Samsung has NAND flash production at Hwaseong and Pyeongtaek in Korea and Xi’an, China.
