Smart checkout system leverages edge computing
AI and deep learning technology provider Viscovery combined its algorithm with Aetina’s edge computing platform (powered by the NVIDIA Jetson), to build an AI product image recognition and auto-checkout system. The system could help staff with product recognition and set the checkout list in a second, which significantly promotes the checkout procession. Meanwhile, the sales report would integrate backstage and help the owner make sales analysis and strategy. Aetina has pre-integrated the platform with software and peripheral hardware. The company maintains and updates BSP and DTB regularly, and sets the cloud management system for the smart application. A MIPI interface camera module provides a suitable environment for visual AI applications.
